Hello there! I'm Masuma , a mother of two, a linguist and writer with a deep love for art and design . My husband and I made New Zealand our home in 2013 when our first born son (now almost 8) was only 6 weeks old . We fell in love and never looked back .

HAUM NZ is an ode to my mother, her purity, her warmth, her spirit of giving and all her acts of love we were blessed with growing up. She had an incredible dedication to her household which is what made it a HAUM.

After losing her to Cancer in 2018 and suffering the deepest feeling of loss, I decided to redirect my life’s purpose to establishing a business that would allow me to financially support cancer patients and their families.

I therefore spent years going through ups and downs trying to launch the brand . Then covid happend and everything came to a standstill .  In November 2020 things took a shift .  Our family was blessed with a little baby girl ,who i say was wished upon the stars into our lives by my mother.

Miraculously it was only after her birth that I picked up HAUM NZ brand  from where i had left and saw it coming to life. Looking back i believe there couldn't have been a more perfect time to launch this and create a legacy for my daughter to carry in the name of her nana "Afshan".

Our brand is launching with a dream of being able to contribute funds to cancer treatments in NZ & Pakistan and supporting families of terminally ill cancer patients through a percentage of our proceeds. We will be sharing our little wins on this journey through our Facebook page. Nothing would be more rewarding and healing .
